Ruger did an excellent job for me. They changed this mishap: Into a new LCP: Like magic

Glad Ruger did that for you. Sounded like the remanufactured ammo company should've done it.

Glad Ruger did that for you. Sounded like the remanufactured ammo company should've done it. Probably but I bet once the tooling is paid for it only costs them about $20 to make a new one. It is just better for their name and reputation to take care of it.

Glad Ruger did that for you. Sounded like the remanufactured ammo company should've done it. I contacted Ruger via E-mail the day it happened. They called the next day. They sent me a RMOA and a prepaid shipping label. I answered their questions on the form and shipped the weapon. I had already let a gun smith look at it. After they looked it over they asked if I would be OK with receiveing a replacement through my choice of FFL dealer, I acceped the offer. Saw no reason to contact anyone else.

Do you feel it was a faulty gun issue?

No idea. Experts couldn't tell. I'm satisified with the results.

No idea. Experts couldn't tell. Does it bother you I got a new gun from Ruger. No. Just wondered if you thought it was a defect. Why would it bother me that Ruger sent you a new gun? I don't shoot that type ammo.

When I was a kid, my dad had a mark 2 stainless .22. It had started rusting. Mr. Bill Ruger sent him a brand new at no charge. Have always liked Ruger.
