I have always said in order to truly grasp much of scripture, one must know about early Jewish culture. The parable of the lost son (prodigal) is very deep and rich like that, the cultural imagery radically changes your understanding of it.
We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.
