I do. The reds where we are are way off. Way too much freshwater. (Perdido Bay). The big bulls in the Gulf seem to be gone till late fall. The specks picked up this past Friday, caught some really good ones at night under the lights. They got better each night till I left this morning.
not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids

Dallas,
What are you using an 8 wieght? I'm about to start fly fishing here on Guam. I'll be using a 10 weight for Barracuda and they have some type of red here. Just wondering what is a good set-up.

I use a 8/9 wt, Scientific Angler. I like the 9' rod, it helps when it gets windy. If all I used it for was trout/reds, I would probably drop down to a 6/7 with a 8' rod. I love to tie my own fly's so fishing with them is even better. Crab imitations work for everthing, followed close by a shrimp (clouser or deciever) pattern. Popper are fun at night. Never done cuda's but have had a ball with chicken dolphin.
