I have used them for years. I like to thik that they work but can not say that I have any hard evidence that they work.

No scent killer or cover scent works if the deer are down wind. My 2 cents. They can help, but never truly cover 100 percent.

Hunt the wind!! Leave if it shifts! I guess a drag rag might bring one in on a windless day where the deer finds the scent trail and turns the same way you walked in and investigates. I say windless because if the deer is walking the same way i walked in, my scent will be blowing back in its face. I have just never understood the drag system in any situation other than rut crazed deer hunting. ^^^This is solid advice. I have killed a few deer that have trailed me to the stand with fox pee on my boots.

I have had success using Harmons's Interdigital Gland Scent during bow season. You will smell like a deer and not overly alert any others in the area.

Has anyone used the ever calm "deer herd in a stick"? Yep. I've had good luck with it. I rub it on some trees on the ground near my stand and spray coon pee in my tree.

I wash my clothes scent free, take a bath scent free, put scent killer deodorant on, spray down with scent killer when I leave the truck, and then soak down in cover scent, either pine or oak depending on where I'm hunting. Seems to work, it is very very rare that I have deer smell me. I used to be one of those guys that laughed at all this new tangled stuff, I'd cut an onion in half and rub my boots down with it, and that was it.
