Goodluck all! I'll be at it for my first hunt in the morning!

Dropped my bow out of my stand last night then had a dang nice buck duck my arrow. Not how I wanted to start my season.

Nothing but does and small bucks for me... seen 4 yesterday morn 11 yesterday evening and 3 this morning! Been a great weekend soo far!

Just let the hoyt eat!!! Put a 3 blade rage to the cage on a doe and heard her crash bout 30yds into the woods!!!

Congrats! I saw two does but neither presented a shot opportunity.

What came of dropping your bow from the stand??? That would ruin my bow season...

I was standing up against the tree in my Summit with my bow laid across the front of the stand (bad choice I know) and was watching the bucks through my binoculars. I moved a little bit trying to get a better view and shifted the bow off the stand. Managed to make a snag out of a screw in hanger I had in my backpack and got my bow pulled back up. Deer never knew anything happened. Checked the limbs, cams, and string and everything seems to be fine. I got lucky for sure. That shook me up a little and probably contributed to me missing that buck.

Good Job Possum Hunter! I went and hung a set yesterday afternoon, and plan on sticking the first deer I see saturday morning.

Well fella's i struck out tonight. Didn't see the first deer. That makes three trips to the woods and I haven't seen squat. I'll be back at 'em Saturday morning.

I haven't seen anything my last couple of hunts either Claims Rep. I'll be back in Jackson County in the morning. Good luck to everyone this weekend!

Haha I'll try my best. Went out for the south zone opener this morning and struck out. Have a feeling this spot I've scouted all summer and set stands on is going to get hunted pretty hard.

Today was my 4th hunt, and I finally saw deer! Over 100 yards away through some thick stuff, and no shot. BUT, at least I saw deer!

I probably won't be able to hunt again til next weekend. Good luck to you guys if you go tomorrow.

Guys im afraid i wont be of much help this year. I took a plunge hanging a stand today and fractured three vertibrate. No surgery is require but still take me a few months to be able to go full speed again. Had my lineman belt on but it turned loose on me and i fell about 15'. I was sent to uab and still awaiting discharge after xrays nd scans

prayers your way my friend.... thats never good to hear about any of our fellow hunters, but atleast you are okay and able to.go on another day keep us updated on what the doctors say...
