Lone Wolf. All the rest are just distant, 2nd place climbers.

Summit has done a remarkable job of marketing their stands and brainwashing hunters. They are not the best climbing stand made - period. I'll take treewalker, cougar claw, and even a few Api models over a summit. I know guys get worked up over Summits, but that's just what they know. It's ok to question a Summit. Sounds like your on the right track. How you figure?? I have a API grand slam super mag, a Buckshot, a gunslinger, and a couple of summit's, used to have some Ole Man.. Now what is so brain washing about the Summit. he asked for Opinions and we was stating them same as you!! SO how are we brain washed...

I hardly ever see Summit advertisements. I do know that Summits don't grip hard barked trees very good for skinny folks. Mine slid down a tree until my harness caught. It wasn't very fun. I only climb pines now.

I've give Summit a try twice. Sold both without hesitation. Slips on most anything other than pines. I hunt too many hardwood bottoms to own one. I really like my Ol'Man. If I were buying one tomorrow it would be a Lone Wolf or Treewalker.I'm 100% certain it wouldn't be a summit. I'll let the other folks drink their koolaid

Treewalker. Save the box and if you don't like the way it climbs I'll buy it from you for what you paid for it. How's that for an endorsement?
A few years ago I bought a ProMag LT and then added the shooting rail to make it a ProMag. I've climbed in other makes but this is the only climber I've ever owned. I cannot imagine another climber that is safer or bites into a slick hickory tree better than a Treewalker.

Or you could get in the Treewalker Facebook Group and find somebody near you who has one - I'll bet they'd be happy to let you test climb it.

As far as climbers go I'll stick with my Summit all day. I've owned one and climbed with one since I was about 16 and weighed 130lbs and never have trouble with any trees. I'll throw mine on a hardwood tree in a second and not worry about it. X100

Just get a Summit and go hunt. This. This year I got my son a new Viper with the quiet metal sound so it doesn't clink so loud. It's nice! But my 11 year old Goliath is still climbing like a champ so no need for me to make any changes.
