Since you mentioned loading, I'll assume you handload. Look into Bluedot loads. http://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/2232327/page/1The poster in the above link is a highly respected handloader and I've duplicated his bluedot loads in various rifles from .223 to .300 WBY. Since it's a pistol powder, you have to be diligent to avoid double charges. If you have an old Lyman cast loading manual, they list lots of reduced loads using 2400 power and I've had alot of success with those as well. My middle daughter is very recoil shy, even though she shoots a .257 Roberts. I hade her some Bluedot loads that shoot a 100 grain bullet at 1700 fps. You can see the bullet impact the target with virtually no recoil or muzzle blast. This loads shoots right at 6" lower than fullhouse loads, so I adjust her scope and shoot to verify before and after she practices. When she shoots a deer, she does not notice she is shooting fullhouse loads.
Take your kids hunting instead of hunting your kids.
I'd rather be LOST in the woods than FOUND in the city.
Drive a hybrid, I need your gas.
Your mind is your primary weapon. Never let it get rusty.

put some ear buds with music playing under the muffs, and put gun in lead sled for the first couple of shots.
For without victory, there is no survival
