Me and my son currently wear Browning Hydrofleece and XPO for colder weather but am wanting something not quite as bullky since we bow hunt 80% of the time but do not want to loose the warmth either...I looked at the UA jackets last year for him but it's hard for me to believe it would be that warm as thin as it is...Looking for feedback to anyone that has it...not wanting to have to wear 5 layers of clothes to stay warm in really cold weather

I have a pair of the insulated over-alls and they are awesome. Never have been cold. They have like a wool lining. I usually wear a thin under pant and they get warm. I usually wear a pullover with my over-alls, unless super cold. The only UA jacket I have is bigger. No wind gets through that thing though.

Matt I just placed a order for the Ayton Bibs and Ayton Jacket. I also got a pair of the 800 gram HAW boots coming as well. All the reviews I have read on the Ayton clothing has been excellent. I will be able to give you first hand info in a few weeks.

I can speak for the Ayton bibs, this will be my 3rd season using them. They are great, the reason I got them was packing ability. I generally walk a good ways in and would sweat to death if I wore my outerwear that far. Those bibs will roll up tighter than a 2 liter Coke bottle and I put them in my backpack for when I get to my tree. I have no complaints and have hunted in 20-30 degree weather several times wearing them. As everyone has already talked about in other threads, yes, their products are expensive. But they are VERY well made and you get what you pay for.

I have two of their hoodies. I don't know what series they are or what...I got them last year. Both are very warm to be as light as they are. I would say that you wouldn't go wrong in getting some UA stuff

I hunted with the Ayton jacket, and Bibs last season. They are good along with the UA cold gear base layers in AL. I hunted in Illinois last season, and the wind would come right through it. Great in AL, but not so great in IL. I bought the Rivers West Ambush jacket, and bibs this year. It's 100% wind proof, and water proof. Look into Rivers West, great stuff!

Under armor does have a lifetime warranty on all their products just fyi for everyone. I own some under armor products but I buy them all on clearance at the end of the season.
