I just bought a used TC Omega and need to know how to remove the breech plug. Is the plug one solid threaded piece or is it the type you just turn a quarter turn and it comes out. I do not have the owners manual and I don't have a tool to remove the plug. What type wrench removes the plug? I need some general info on the plugs removal. Thanks guys in advance for the help!

They are right. If yout didn't get the tool, it's a 7/16 or 11mm. I have the tool but use s nut driver instead. Easier.
Put some bore butter on the threads when yout get done. Make it easier to get out next time.
Been shooting one since 2006. Been s good one.

I don't use bore butter, I use Never Sieze.

It screws all the way out. You can get it out with a socket or nutdriver,I think it's a 7/16. Worked just fine. Wasn't stuck at all and cleaned up pretty well after running the BH209 through it. I was shooting 70 grains of powder and a 250 grain spire Point bullet and it was absolutely stacking them in the same hole. I made 3 adjustments on the scope and had it 1" high at 50 yards-shooting in my back yard. I shot again at 50 and could not see where the bullet hit the target. I was thinking I might have pulled off, or something just went wrong, so I shot again. I walked down to the target and there was a ragged, three shot hole in it. To me, that is unheard of with a muzzle loader. I think this one is a keeper! The BH 209 also kicks a lot harder than the pyrodex I used to use. It packs a wallop.
