Yup might as well get your will in order now you're done.

I'm a paramedic in Mobile and when my wife and I saw the initial reports out of Mobile about the possible Ebola case we both discussed it and I was not going to work. Like Rebelman said my family needs me more. I hate it for the possible patients. I can't tell you how many times I've had people leave out or change medical history on me from the time I've picked them up to the time I have dropped them off at the ER.

Thanks for being honest about it. A lot of people need to read and understand that because it shows when it hits the fan, whether it's ebola or something else you are going to be on your own and need to prepare for that.

I don't know how long I'll be a nurse when the first case hits the hospital I work at. Aids and everything else is one thing but this Ebola is something else and I don't think they really know what they are dealing with or how it is transmitted.

My daughter is a nurse in an emergency room at a large hospital and she is also pregnant. One outbreak in our community and I would strongly advise her to take a leave and so would her husband. I do not have a lot of faith in our system to fully protect her. Lately I really don't have a lot of faith in our government to do anything correctly except try to get on tv. After these 2 nurses got ebola I think is would be large exodus of nurses leaving hospitals that have ebola patients. Predictions are that in January there could be up to 100,000 people with ebola in Africa, that is scary and our president says there is nothing to worry about. I'm worried for my family.
