I also saw a video of a conservation officer saying to never remove them. More info, please, on this GW and his opinion about field-dressing a deer.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. It was an officer in West Virginia and he was saying that removing reproductive parts was an old wives tale. He went on to say that removing them could possibly contaminate the meat.

I've never cleaned/field-dressed/gutted a deer, so I have ZERO experience with the topic....
our processor is less than 2 miles from our farm, and does not charge extra for non-dressed deer.
There are 3 certainties in an uncertain world:

Well, FWIW, yes. I always remove them... That's the very first thing i do. I always split the pelvis also, but I know alot of ppl dont. BTW, a cod sack makes a nice, soft shifter knob cover.
