Got some from walmart in camping supplies. Its only 25% deet. Usually I go with the sport max with the highest deet, but figured I'd give this a try.

Down here in SW Louisiana on the gulf coast the skeeters lick that stuff off you and than tear your arse. The sportsmans repel lotion is the only thing I found along with a themacell that will hold them back for a while. I'm not sure where you are at,it may work if they aren't to bad. Here they eat the can and all.

I used some and it smells like gas, not earth scented at all haha stick with deep woods for scouting. I don't use any during deer season, they stop bothering me after September.

Try a Thermacell. It put's off a slight odor, but I've never had it spook a deer. It uses a synthetic copy of a natural repellent. Save your used pads, during the rut put doe urine on them and put them back in the thermacell, and you have a great hot scent dispenser. You can get earth scented pads to put in it if you prefer. They work better than anything I've seen. BassPro has them for $19.95

Flip over the pads and you can get a few more hours out of them. Godd to know, if you run out of pads. Love my thermacell. Great tip! I just bought a thermacell, and it seems to work pretty good so far (on the back porch)

Just got a value pack of the earth scent refills, hoping that scent won't be offensive.
