Winn Dixie has the vacuum sealed Smithfield Boston Butts for $1.99/pound. What will it affect if I buy several and freeze them to smoke later? I think sale goes for several more days. Thanks.

Go for it. I do this all the time. Just takes longer because you have to thaw it out.

I've done it several times however, I generally wait until they are lower than $1.99 before I stock up. However, the price of meat has increased and that is a very good price under todays conditions.
