We purchased 3 DPMS AR10s for the business and I must admit I haven't been very impressed.
I am looking for recommendations for a very reliable AR10. We are hard on rifles and need one that will stand the test of being treated pretty rough.
I want a low profile flat top to mount the thermal on and that is about it. We don't put all that other stuff on there.

Barry, You might want to try these folks Black Warrior Armory.

What about the browning bar ar style rifle called the hog stalker. I saw one te other day that looked awesome. My buddy in Tuscaloosa should be able to order them for you at a good price.
We will burn that bridge when we get there

Buy some Springfield M1A1s...say no to zytel platics and aluminum... Great rifles but antiquated optics attachment for the most part. Major draw back is weight. If you are used to the AR system then the controls are strange. Also weighs a ton. Been there done that. Slam firing can also be an issue. IN my experience with them anyways. You can butt stroke a big with one though.
