So you would be ok with them cheating you out of money and getting off lightly? To me they are low down pieces of scum. Not much different then robbery in my opinion. Maybe I just have to much respect for people who actually work hard to achieve their goals.

I agree that they should be punished but I also think it was overkill. I see day in and day out people continuously getting arrested and getting a slap on the wrist and probation.

Well then to me it would seem that those other people getting off easy should get stouter punishments. Right? Not Vice Versa

Those two got what they deserved since they weren't smart enough to fire their incompetent attorney months ago when he attempted to try the case in social media. They would have stood a better chance with a public defender.

When money is involved, a cheater might as well be a thief and punished the same as a thief.

Got 2 stihl chainsaws they can come run clearing fence lines on property line/county road right of way. That would fix someone doing crimes fast. I believe in community service 1000% but they usually get out of it.

I'm guessing fraud.

I would guess Fraud and maybe also a Felony depending on how much money they took. If I remember right anything taken over $500 is a felony.

A thief is a thief either he breaks into your house or he cons you out of it. They stole money. As far as the other big football Things going on right now with just getting suspended maybe they should be tried in Alabama and not in the Liberal states that there in.
