What are y'alls experiences with the Moultrie Pro Hunter Feeder kit? I ordered one from Academy, but it did not work. Academy refunded my money, but now I am debating whether to order another Moultrie or try a different brand. Thx, HH

Take your kids hunting today....one day, they will be taking you.

We have been using the Moultrie Feeders now for 6 years and have never had any problems with ours. I guess its like everything else, sometimes you get a bad one.

That's all we use at our club. Use the solar charger and never have to worry about the battery dying. Best out there in my opinion

I've mentioned a small, relatively unknown brand on here before. The company is Game Country feeders. They're a small company in Texas and their feeders are not as sexy with all the displays and such as the Moultries and others, but they LAST FOREVER. I bought three at the Muscle Shoals Walmart somewhere around 1986 and two are still in use today. I messed up the third by allowing a battery to corrode its contacts. The other two have been in use for over 25 years. The ones I have are the DayII model. A 6V battery lasts 6 to 8 months.

In the last 2 years, I've bought a couple of Moultries and am having trouble with them. The replacements will be from Game Country. No, I'm not a paid spokesman. Just trying to pass along info on a product that works.
