I HATE PRIVET!!!!

Two of my boys (9 and 15) and I have spent the last couple of weekends clearing about an acre of it for some food plots to bow hunt. I had a great time working with the boys, and now that the seed is in the ground, we can rest a little before the season starts. We are worn out.

My wife walked down there yesterday, and she now understands why we have been exhausted when we got home.

I've got some that's 4" in diameter on my place. I hate it. The deer love it.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Get you some goats. My goats will take down a privet hedge that's an acre in size in no time!

Take your kids hunting instead of hunting your kids.

I'd rather be LOST in the woods than FOUND in the city.

Drive a hybrid, I need your gas.

Your mind is your primary weapon. Never let it get rusty.

So, if I get some goats and a fence around it, will they just eat the leaves, or will they go after the "stems" of the privet?

Mine try to eat it all, tender branches and bark. I guess they won't pull a whole tree up from its roots

That would probably still make it easier than trying to pull it all apart with leaves and branches that are twisted together. Might have to think about this one. The kids have been wanting some goats anyways.

We have pigs coming the next couple of weeks, so this might have to wait until spring time.
