I found one where I used to hunt in Morgan County. Had a stand there because the loggers cut everything else.

I stand corrected. Did some research on one of the men buried there and actually found out he was one of the largest slave owners in Walker county. As a matter of fact only 2 other men owned more than him. He only owned 10 though.

Anyways, found some pics of the cemetery from when someone did some restoration work on it but that appears to have been done quiet a while ago. It is in pretty bad shape again.

I read this to my father and he is the one that wanted me to ask you about it's location. He said he core drilled the head of walker fayette coal company in 1980, and came across that very cemetery.

I've got a cemetery on my place 6 limestone markers from 1800's. Made sure it was clearly marked so the loggers would get near it. That spot is one of my favorite places on the property

Wow - that would take a pretty sick person to do that. I can't imagine digging up a dead body. I bet they don't sleep much after digging that first one up.

There's an old cemetery on Bishop Mtn that only has a handful of graves but one is a Confederate soldier. I haven't been up there since the late 70s but hopefully somebody in that club is taking care of it.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

There was a 'man' that lived close to Guntersville that was a demon from Hell if there ever was one. Albert Ayres III. He dug up a very grave of a baby in the Manchester Cemetery, took the bones home and boiled them. He was an absolute demonic man. Several people died either in his presence or shortly after having been around him. He eventually died of cancer and that was way too good for him.
