Y'all are right, y'all can shoot the spots off and wipe the milk off their mouths on y'all own land and leases. But on one that I'm in charge of there will be no shooting baby deer if you are a seasoned hunter and have killed deer before.If a person hunting with us has never killed a deer before I will shake his hand and congratulate them on their 1st kill even if it is a fawn. We have way to many deer on our place to be shootin 17lb deer. If you are shooting for meat get the most bang for your buck. Save the lil ones for the lil ones.
