Wanting to get cold weather gear but I don't want to look like the Michelin man. I will be bowhunting and need some mobility. Any suggestions?

Merino wool, fleece, and Drake MST pullover. I wear bibs as my outer layer for pants.

Thanks I'm going to Oklohoma in November. I don't think they are a lot cooler than here.

Merino wool, fleece, and Drake MST pullover. I wear bibs as my outer layer for pants. The MST isn't loud in the stand? I have looked at them a few times and always thought it would wind up being noisy, and it aggravates me to hear myself move so I never pulled the trigger.

Some wear and a wash or two makes it a lot quieter. I wear it when it gets real cold for bow and gun hunting. Also, doubles as a rain coat during a cold rain.

If it's anything like where I turkey hunted out there, you need something windproof. UA is warm, but it doesn't wick away moisture as good as merino wool.

Muck boots and a good wool skip cap. If my feet and head are warm and I layer the rest I'm good. The Mucks are too warm to wear before December.
