I've been scouting a lot lately ... can't stand that crap in my face so I carry a stick and move it in circles in front of me as I walk, that gits most of em

They dont bother me in the least if I can SEE them. One of my favorite times is creeping in during gray light early bow season and catching the outline of one in the air when its too late and Ive already wrapped up in its web. The feel of one about 3" across scurrying down the back of your neck in the dark is a real delight. It what keeps me coming back.

Riding through checking cameras one day on the four-wheeler, forgot my spider stick for the front rack, took one of those man-eating demons straight to the face...jumped off, was in about 4th gear and after I reassured myself it hadn't ate my brain or soul, I found out my four-wheeler really could go through trees...and new plastic for one is some kind of expensive

A spider in the deer woods cost me my first wedding ring. I ran through a spider web and went straight kung fu. During my arm slinging my ring came off and is somewhere in the Iron City, TN woods. My wife need even noticed  . I am now on my third ring after my second one suffered a fatality during a frog gigging trip. My wife didn't notice that time either. I'm either slicker than owl chit or she's not a very observative person
