Give Dianne at Mountain Springs Farm in Springville a call. I got my pup from her a month ago and she 7 left. They are 11 weeks old and from a good bloodline. Here is her website: http://m.mountainspringfarmlabs.com

I would not pay a dime for a puppy that came from a breeder that bred charcoal, silvers and other dilutes. For the money your looking to spend you can get a dog with a performance pedigree complete with health clearances. No offense but that breeder is outing out junk. X 2 I really have an issue with people trying to pass those colors off

Here is her website: http://m.mountainspringfarmlabs.com I would not buy a puppy from these people. My in-laws just bought a puppy from them in June. Turns out that the puppy had a broken leg and the breeders never knew it. It healed up in a strange way and now the puppy limps severely. Any place where you have so many puppies that you cannot notice one with a broken leg is a puppy mill. Everybody can do what they want to but I would never buy a puppy from them.

They are dilutes carrying recessive genes, their is debate if silvers are even full blooded labs. People who breed for these colors have a complete disregard for the dogs working ability. They are breeding two dogs that carry recessive genes to get these genes. Health, soundness, and working ability/drive be damned. I am going to have to disagree with you on this one. Most maybe but not all people that are breeding these dogs are just worried about color. I currently have 2(male and female) of these so called silver labs. Both of which hold a SH titles and health clearances. They are some of the best hunting dogs that I have had a pleasure to hunt with.

Hickory Nut Kennels in Cullman, AL breeds great dogs. I personally have two yellow labs that I have purchased from James and could not be more pleased with them. They are more than you are wanting to spend but I do believe it was well worth the extra money. Here's his website: http://www.hickorynutkennels.com
