Just checking to see who on here has used one of these before and are they decent scopes ? Mainly yote and deer hunting would be its use but I wouldnt mind trying to do some long range plinking with the AR if the scope would halfway work for that too.
It will be mounted to an Armalite AR10 in 243 Win.
Your thoughts both good and bad are appreciated.

Great for an entry level optic. Their warranty is bar none the best out there

Yeah it is. I called them and was talking to them about becoming a dealer. I'm not able to stock enough product to qualify, but they told me they would warranty their scopes and against everything except, theft, loss or abduction by aliens!

Awesome, thanks guys!!
Next question,,,my Armalite AR10 comes with 2 piece round scope mounts, just like I would use on a bolt gun. Is there any benefit going to a one piece mount for this AR? I just dont know since this is my first ever AR confused

Depends on if your use and abuse would justify it. I would personally recommend the LaRue one piece QD mount. But they are pricey.

Hello Troxster!!! How ya been bud? Good to hear from you.
Yeah, I know, I know, its been loooong overdue with me getting an AR, its still in the box and I havent had the time or chance to go shoot it yet....I still need a scope for it. But if I had your money, I'd have to burn mine just so I could stay warm in the winter smile

Hows the yotes doing on your property these days?

I picked up one today at Simmons in Bessemer for $149. $100 off. I wonder if they are being discontinued. That is a huge discount.

Moose, did you get the 3.5x10x50?
I think when I asked the guy I chatted with on the phone at Simmons last week, he said they had got them at a special price, hence the sale price.
What other powers did you look at that are close to this scope, if any? And what are you mounting it on and will it be for hunting?
Thanks!!

Yep. Got the 3.5x10x50 BDC. I had been looking at this scope and the 3x9x40. Actually was trying to decide between a Vortex and the Leupold 3x9x40 VX-2. Their other scopes were marked down like $20. A friend of mine just got this scope and loves it.

I am putting it on my Stag AR in a 6.8spc for hunting.

Well I made it to Simmons yesterday to get me a scope....first the good news......they had them in stock.
Now the not so good news,....the price was no longer the "sale price" of $149 frown . They had sold their last one at the good price Monday but still had some at $219. I went on and pulled the trigger on it at $219. and I had to buy a set of rings as the one that came with the AR10 was not tall enough to clear the forearm.
Onward and upward from here smile
