Woke up this morning and decided to go scout for elk. Within 10 minutes of leaving the truck I saw 8 cows and spikes. Rode the bike about another 1.5 miles to a spot and spotted a few cows on the next hillside. While sitting there glassing, I heard a bull in the bottom rip off a bugle... He lite off one more time and after glassing 18 cows and spikes the chocolate antlers of a 5x5 Rosie bull appeared. I can't wait until 8/30! show-off......  No really, that's cool.
