Just wanted to give a first hand experience with these since the reason I chose them was partly due to things I read on here. I wanted to change bh's as I was shooting Grim Reaper's and lost the last two deer I shot with them. I know it's placement, on and on but it bugged me to death and took away my confidence in them which is important in my book. A doe I shot probably bled more than any deer I have ever shot bow or gun and trailed for 4.5 hours and probably about a mile and then just.....gone. Shot two this last season and the Rage did exactly as advertised, small buck 30 yards, watched him go down and then a doe 40 yards. Both massive holes. On the buck it went in just behind shoulder and slammed into opposite shoulder as he jumped and buck at impact arrow fell out. But it left an unbelievable gaping hole from which I could see blood pouring from. Doe almost same spot but complete pass through. I will say on her the arrow took a weird turn to the rear and down a bit, I saw it make the turn as it went in. Not sure if it was due to bone strike or the blades opening oddly. Either way, again two unbelievably huge cuts and two deer in the freezer.

I'm still using the 2" 2 blade cut on contact original rages. I don't get why you would want the chisel tip that you can't change, when I buy a pack of replacement blades it comes with the cut on contact blades but no chisel tip. With the original cut on contact rage I have broken 2 spines and a femur bone and shot through shoulder blades. IMO the chisel tip and hypodermic is just a gimmick to make you buy more broad heads instead of replacing the blades on ones you already have.

Yeah c’mon. Daniel White

I believe that is all they had in the Xtreme when I got them. Wouldn't matter anyway I don't care if my broad heads only last one time. All I expect them to do is their part in putting a deer down when I do my part and make a good shot. I like the idea of the chisel tip, I believe it's got a better chance of driving through bone. It gives me the mental confidence that I want in any broad head I were shooting.

whatever tickles your pickle but i have broken the two biggest, hardest bones in a deer's body with the cut on contact is all i was saying.

Yeah c’mon. Daniel White
