This one would feed a small army!

I threw out a dozen noodles baited with cut skipjack in front of the Camp yesterday afternoon. My little buddy, Dylan Allen, came down and we started checking them. We caught several small to average ones.....and then, about 9:30 pm, one the noodles came up missing!! This sucker would hold it down 4-5 minutes at a time! We finally got a hand on the line and got him in the boat about 10:00 pm. 52lbs!!! Biggest one I ever got on a jug or noodle.

I would have figured he would have tasted bad. I only cook flatheads over 4 pounds.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I don't have any on my phone......But, I will get some this weekend while I am at the Camp. I use varying line lengths from 2' - 6'. The line I caught the big one on was a 6' line.

The only real 'tip' I have is; use FRESH bait! And, keep it checked and freshened often!!

Yeah, turkey neck.....I am the same way. Normally, I only keep big yellows. But, we wanted to get pics and such with this one. So, I cleaned him and cut him in as small of strips as possible. Soaked it in water with salt and lemon juice a while and cooked it. It turned out pretty good!
