Just curious how other 401k are performing. YTD I am getting 4.83%. Honestly don't know if that is low, high, or average.

Anyone got any insight?

Mine year to date is 15.56%. I haven't checked it all year so that is a nice surprise. To bad I don't have a couple million in it.

I am with fidelity. It's an old plan that a past employer let me keep when I left after 8 years with them......80% in real estate, 20% in contrafund......I need to transfer it all to real estate I guess because that is what has been earning me the money the last few years. I rolled over a few K from a right out of college job I had for 2 years, was vested after 5 with the second company, and now it just sits there with no contributions into it earning interest. I have thought several times about doing something else with it to invest it better, but it makes me a few thousand every year and I forget I even have it there. I am on state retirement now and can't roll I to there so I guess I will leave it where it is unless someone has a better idea for me to try. I need to start putting back into rsa1 again too.

I do it, ain't nothing to do though. I set it all up split 5 ways to begin with. I'm down to the 2 listed above now and might go to 1 soon. Since 2009 real estate has been going up. I lost like 9% the best I remember in 2009, but gained it all back the next year and have went way up since.
