Its been an ok year, I seen plenty of deer. I don't like this new extended season though. I'd prefer having my early season. I'm pretty sure from what I saw our rut tapered off this past weekend and seems to have been at it's height form the 20th to the 28th. Next year that's when I'll be taking my vacation. Good luck to guys

Just so ya know they burnt 7 back in December, I still had fresh sign in there but never saw a deer in the day. If ya go all the way back to the creek there is pigs pretty regular. As for 8, I hunt the area up by Hwy 51 and the big cutover. I know there is couple nice bucks in there, but I have never been able to catch one moving and I hunted it a lot from Nov till mid Jan, then I gave in and moved on. I promise ya there is no "honey Holes" on rucker, but I can point ya too a few spots if ya don't wana go in blind.
