Winston County: below average for all time frames (fewest deer we've seen on our farm in 6-8 years)

We've seen more sign on our place than ever, though. The deer are here, but daytime movement has been minimal all season long.

You can keep that junk!! I'm a flatlander and if its higher than an ant hill my fat butt wants no part of it. Seriously, I've hunted it and its totally different and harder. Ya'll have my respect but not envy!!

Property 1:
Below average...and has been getting worse every year for years. NO fawns seen.

Property 2:
Average. Quite a few fawns and future looks bright.

Property 3:
Don't know. Haven't hunted it in years so I don't know what average is.

that being said I'm giving it one more year. If next year is as bad as the last couple of years, I'm seriously considering giving up hunting in Alabama and taking the resources & applying those to a couple of out of state hunts. That's my thoughts on deer hunting here now. It has steadily gone down hill the last 5-8 years or so.

Easy some people on here will get there panties in a wad. If you bad mouth deer hunting in AL. Especially if heaven forbid you say it sucks. I seen it happen first hand. LOL

1. - Below.

2. - Below.

3. - Way below.

Three years ago we started seeing less deer on our club with each year progressively getting worse.

This year has been the worst we have had so far. Our number of kills this year was the lowest it has been in the 10 years I have been in this club.

Overall, deer sightings have been way down for most everyone in our club.
