Being a lefty, either will be fine. I've never had much problem moving lefty guns.
My BLR was accurate, but the 700 will shoot better and will offer upgrade options imo.
The a bolt/x bolt will be jam up option too. Bolt throw is better and the trigger is good out of the box.
I would choose between the 700 and Browning.

Don't know if they've started but Browning used to NOT offer a 7-08 or any short action caliber in a standard A-bolt. You could get them in a Micro- hunter. I hear the new A-bolt IIIs are not much compared to the Is and IIs.

dnolen, I have had both. You can't go wrong with either one. It comes down to personal preference. The nice thing is that if you change your mind later on, you can try the other one. Either will last a lifetime with reasonable care. There will always be a situation where you prefer one over the other.

savage makes lefty bolt guns, too ... As does Tikka. Does Remington offer a 7-08 lefty?
