I like having the season and I think it should apply to all just as it does. However, if it's my land, why can't I bait legally? Is this parity coming into play? I would like to do whatever I want, in season, on my land. My .02 Funny how "it's my land" comes up all the time... I own it. It's mine. What's your point?

But if it is fenced land and outside the law and your pocket book what does it matter?

What state office do I need to send the bill to for the damage THEIR deer did to my truck ?

While we're on the subject of RIGHTS, if you don't have the MINERAL (subsurface for those who don't know) rights you can't do that either. All you are allowed to do is live on TOP of "YOUR" dirt. You don't own the oil, gas, minerals, rocks, etc UNDER the ground. I don't have mineral rights on the place I own (old Scott Paper Co land) fwiw. Wish I did. I keep thinking I'll research who does (family who sold the land to Scott Paper kept half, other half was sold to Sun Energy I think) and try to buy it back.

So who owns the animals on said land, and how did they acquire them does the Constitution or the Bill of Rights give the gov't the right to these animals?

Silly question but, since you only own the land and not the animals, NO! You can go around shooting trees I guess. We don't own the deer but the state dosent mind that we fence them in an introduce genetically altered freaks to the herd..

High fence owners have to abide by state regs the same as anybody else.
Just to clear that up.
