Couple of buddies and I are going up to Skyline Saturday all day. Been thinking about trying to get back far away from highly trafficked roads. Anyone hunted up around Little Coon and Kettle Branch creeks?

Im going up there too for this hunt, but wont be near these areas. I have hunted all over those areas and ive never been able to do this:

Have you ever been able to get away from the slough of hunters that will pour in there during those hunts by chance?

I love those areas and they have plenty of deer, but there are so many hunters its not even funny. I would love to find a way to hunt escape routes around there.

I believe I'd go to big coon if I was going try and out walk folks.

You better hope it does get cold. There were record numbers of 4 wheeler riders last weekend up a Little Coon.

Im gunna be therefor this hunt myself, Hoping to do better this time the the other times i have visited A Zone this year.

I was hoping that where Little Coon creek and Kettle Branch meet would be remote enough that they would not be covered up with hunters. Anyone know how it compares to the number that hunt Tate Cove Rd?

I hate to break it to you but that is Grand Central Station of Little Coon. Everyone and their mother that own's an ATV will be there. It's easy access from Little Coon Camp and from the top on Cave Springs Rd

I will be at our camp. I hope it is a little more calm up there than the last few weekends.
