Who was it that was offering to make large maps for a nominal fee? I'm looking for a 36X36 or so. Are they high res? I'm only interested in a very high quality print. Our club just had some timber operations complete within the last two months and the Google map has already been updated. I'd like to have a new map printed to replace the old one but if I can't get a high quality, large printed map, we'll just keep the old one. The guy that printed the old one has gone out of business.

Yekrut did a great job on mine. I don't remember how much though...

I can print up to 40" on our plotter but I can't get the new google imagery into our GIS program. I just made a map for a landowner that was 32"x36" and printed it on photo paper, then laminated it for them.
The newest photo I can access without paying to get it flown is 2013.
I think you would have to have google earth pro to print those maps.

I bought a 24"x48" from Terraserver online that was $95 but it came laminated. I was trying to get our entire 11,500 acres but couldn't get enough detail so I only got about 8000 acres but it's a fine map. If the piece of property is not real big, you can get a really detailed map.

Kinkos did one for me a few years back. It was 24x28. They blew it up and put it on foam board by accident. Ended up being the best thing because we use push pins to mark stands and hunting spots. Foam board is laminated on the print side so never had an issue with moisture. Been using it for 4 years. Only charged me like $35.

Kinkos told me that they would not enlarge anything with the Google watermark or any other watermark on a map.

Yea, my 8.5x11 I took to Kinkos did not have any watermarks. It was given to me by the landowner who had it taken when he use to sell the timber off of it. You're right, I remember them looking at it for watermarks before doing it.

I can do any size using Google Pro maps without watermarks, lay out property lines, stands, roads, plots, etc. up to 4'x 8' on vinyl for 4 or 5 bucks a sq. ft. or free for a good one day turkey hunt.
