I use to buy Fed stamps at the post office. I'd guess they still sell them.

Make sure he has both stamps and that they're both signed. They aren't legal unless they're signed.

Walmart. Gets stamps federal and state. Plus HIP. Make sure you sign stamps or they are no good

Can't you get the federal stamp online via a different states website?

Federal stamp and state stamp, but most places do not actually have the state stamp it can just be bought with your license. Walmart or post office for the federal stamp. Steel shot and a wma license if hunting on a wma. Oh and make sure and get the HIP permit on his license, it is free just asks if you hunted migratory birds last year and how many you harvested.

You can go to the Arkansas game and fish department website and buy a federal stamp on line. You can buy the state stamp anywhere you buy your state license, including on line.

Make sure he is going hunting with some people that have some experience duck hunting. Lot more going on during a duck hunt so has to pay attention to alot more. ALWAYS pay attention to muzzle direction. If he hasnt waded before let him wade with somebody even if in a flooded field. Just some safety things to keep in mind.

X2 on the wading,it's not as easy as just throwing on waders and getting in the water, you can get in some deep chit in a minute,he needs to know how to get out of trouble if he falls in a beaver run or stump hole, put him in the waders and find a pond or creek and let him wade and get a feel for them before turning him loose with a bunch of teenage buddies

Make sure his gun is plugged for 3 shells. If he's going to be on public land, like a WMA, check regs about the amount of ammo he can have in his possession (I think it's one box) and make sure it's non-toxic shot - steel, bismuth, tungsten, etc.

Got both my stamps last year on the AL website when I bought my hunting/fishing license. Later I went back and bought a WMA license. It works just fine. I didn't catch what state you're hunting in, but it should work about the same. Any sporting goods store or Walmart (and plenty of other places besides) can sell them as well. I did notice, though, that the last time I bought a fishing license at Walmart they went through the state website same as I would have at home. Why bother with a grouchy store employee when I can do it in my PJs while listening to CCR?
