Is it just me or do 90% of the Halloween costumes for a little girl look like something a hooker would wear?

It is what it is....

I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.

We live out in the sticks now (zero tricker-treaters), but when we lived in Montgomery (yes, I know - we deserved it living in that craphole town) - a lot of the "older" kids would just walk up with a sack and want candy. Without exception - we'd give candy even to the kids that looked to be about 25.

The last year we lived there - one of the "older kids" knocked on the door and said, "Give me some candy or I'll slice your tires." My response was, "Get off my porch before I blow your brains out." He looked at me like I was crazy and said, "Hey man, I was just joking." And my response was, "I wasn't - now get off my porch before one of us gets hurt."

This story reminded me of the time my youngest daughter got it good from a homeowner.
She was around 9 years old and we were trick or treating the neighborhood along with her little brother and my wife and myself.
We went to a house that had two elderly gentlemen sitting in a chair on the front porch. My daughter walked up to them, held out her bag and very emphatically said "Well?" The old guy looked at the other fella and without missing a beat told her "Well ring the damn doorbell and yell trick or treat if you want any candy, miss priss" My wife and I both rolled in the yard laughing uncontrollable. My daughter was super embarrassed and tried to walk away but I made her go back and apologize to those fellas.

Hunt'em hard when they are hard to hunt but never, ever hardly hunt!

I don't know, I have not seen the first trick-or-treater since 2004

It takes a long time to grow an old friend.

Just moved into an actual neighborhood a few months ago, so this will be my first go with trick-or-treaters. I'm sure the dogs are going to hate it!
