Remington270 OP Freak of Nature R Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 21,784 USA	What does it mean? I know some folks swear by these type bullets, but I wouldn't know what the difference is from a regular soft point deer round. Someone enlighten me, please.

The rear portion is walled off from front half with jacket material and filled with lead. This retains what's left of the jacket after expanding and keeps driving after the front part expands/fragments. Benefit is expansion on impact + penetration of the rear shank.

I may have to give them a try when I run out of my current stock. I was thinking about going with the Hornady GMX or Barnes ttxs. It'll be for 270 and 25-06. 83% of all statistics are made up.

The bullets are tough and I think too tough to expand like you need on a deer. The Nosler Partition is IMO the best all around "animal" cartridge ever made. With the exception of the bigger African Dangerous critters IE(buffalo, hippo, Elephant), the Nosler Partition is very very very hard to beat for an all around bullet. IKNOWMYPHUCKINGCODEDAMMITYOUDICKHEAD!!!
