I am getting it today, and was wanting any pointers. I have been stuck with limited internet for so long, I think I will be watching YouTube all night.

I have u-verse. I like it much more that Direct TV I used to have.

We had that mifi at the farm and just got U-verse about a month ago. Wife loves it.

We just got the internet though, not the TV etc.

I have it and like it. But the first time in 6 months were having a issue with some equioment. Had a lighting strike and they sent a replacement receiver that didnt work. Support person wanted to get stupid with the wife on the phone.That doesntwork with that coon-ass. Got a discount on the bill and a tech coming to fix the problem.

I got it to, I do have problems with one of my DVR players not working on wifi to watch netflix. This DVR is the fartherest device from the router. It only does it when the kids have both tablets and all our phones are on wifi. I been thinking about trying one those boosters.

We have it for internet only. But, we may be getting the tv before long. The internet is great, no problems.

Had it for 3 years; like it. If you have a problem; their response is usually pretty fast.

I love mine. I've had them out a couple of times to replace a unit at t.v.'s and everytime they have upgraded every unit to newer models at no cost.

I had it for tv and internet. The wifi was really fast and had no issues, I was very pleased with it. Personally, I thought the pricing on tv packages was not as good as DirecTV. I had to 200 channel pkg and it was plenty but there were no outdoor channels or hunting shows in that level.

Weve used it for 2-3 years. Like it way better then Dish and Direct.No weather issues...internet and TV. Upgraded our equipment for free a few months ago when we called about a problem. Great DVRs. NO complaints

Well, my U_Verse experience didn't start out that well. I had an appointment from 1-3 today, and called ATT to confirm. The guy never showed up, and at about 4:30 I was told that my apointment got lost somewhere between ATT and dispatch. I was bummed, I have been looking forward to it big time.

Update:

Well, the saga continues. I was told last night that my order got somehow lost and never made it to dispatch. Well, today I was told that they had a "facility issue" that needed to be resolved before I could get service. There were no details and no indication of when this issue could be fixed.

I am not having a good experience. I was obviously lied to and the lack of details from those who are being truthful is pathetic. This is very discouraging, because I was really looking forward to the service.

We have had it for about 2 yrs. I love it but I have had 2 problems and it took about a week without any tv ,internet or phone service to finally get it fixed both times. just remember when you call with a problem DO NOT let them try to fix it over the phone or tell you it is the server make them send out a Technician it will save you a lot of time.

i had the tv/internet installed on fri, the 18th...dropped directv that night.

was paying $113/mo for 3hd directv receivers 250 pkg with dvr, no internet and no movie channels.

getting the uverse 4hd receivers 300 pkg with dvr, movie channels and sec network PLUS the 250gb data internet for $112...no brainer.

like it alot so far.

Would love to get it but they along with everyone else have determined that I live too far in the sticks to get the service to me. I guess cellular internet is what I am stuck with.

I got the service installed today. So far, it is fantastic!

Wish we had AT&T where I live. We are stuck with crappy-ass Frontier for phone and internet service. The phone service is fine, but the internet is slow as dirt. I've paid for their max speed service for years, and I've NEVER gotten over about 1.2 mb/s. I call and complain about it, and they tell me that I'm lucky that I'm able to even get dsl service, due to me living so far out.

We spent a few days in Memphis last week with the in-laws. They have U-verse. I'm extremely jealous of all of you that are able to receive it. My inlaws pay about half of what I do for tv, internet, and phone. They have more channels, and their internet speed averaged 15-18 mb/s the entire time I was there.

I just got U-Verse TV and internet about two weeks ago. As far as the service goes I like it. The field tech that installed it called about 10 mins before he was to arrive and was very professional and knowledgeable. The customer service sucks though. When I first called, I was only going to get the internet but the lady said they had all these promotions and bundles for signing up for TV also. She said the bundle price was good for two years, it is only good for one year I find out later on my bill. She said since I was going to sign up for the internet anyway, they would send me a $100 gift card for that and a $250 gift card for the TV portion. My bill says a $150 card only. I also told her I had two TVs not one. When the tech shows up he says my order calls for just one TV. He went ahead and installed the other and it shows up on my bill as an $8 dollar charge per month. They did remove that charge on the first call I made to them since I had told her I had two TVs. I have called two other times and basically got blown off when trying to get the other issues resolved. I would recommend it but don't expect to get all the things they promise.

I've had their TV and internet for a couple of years now and they blow Direct TV out of the water. I've never had any issues with them either.
