Got on this bird after letting him walk off this morning and went back to the place I left him. Got him to gobble at 4:45 just off the edge of the field. He came out into the field at about 200 yds and started scratching leaves and purring. He stopped at 100 yds and would not come any closer. I scratching leaves again and here he comes strutting the whole way to me. He got to about 25 yds and then bang flop.
