I went and bought a Jon boat and the guy that I brought it from has a 6.5 hp mud motor for sale. He said is has maybe 30 hrs on it. It looks close to brand new and runs good. I ran it on a 14' all welded Jon boat and it pushed it about 10-12 mph. It only weighs about 70 lbs so it would be easy to put in a gheenoe or Jon boat. It's located in West Point, ga. He's asking $1000 and I told him about 3% to aldeer if it sales from here. If interested pm me and I'll get you his contact info.

Guys, this motor belongs to me. If you have any questions, let me know. I built the engine back in September and used it this duck season. I sold the boat that I had it on to go with a bigger hull so I don't need the engine. I am located just across the Georgia line. I'm about 25 minutes from Auburn. I would potentially trade for guns, specifically a shotgun of equal value. I am also looking for a nice utility trailer. Let me know what you have.

So it looks like the prop turns continuously when the engine is running? Also, how does it mount? I can't really tell from the pictures. Thanks, looks like a great job

The motor is a direct drive, meaning there is no clutch. The engine mounts via a transom bracket. It is very easy to install and remove. You simply pull a pin and pick it up. I have several short videos of the motor running if anybody wants to see them.

I bought a bigger boat over the weekend and won't be using this motor so make me an offer. I'm up for trades on handguns and shotguns, maybe certain rifles but not too interested in rifles.
