I've been say for years I'm gonna buy a pistol but when I go to look at them I always spend the money on a shotgun, rifle or bow. But as soon as I sell my golf cart I'm gonna go buy a rifle and pistol.

I prefer 9mm since its cheaper to shoot, and I also want one that won't break the bank. I'm thinking about a Kel-Tec PF-9, but I'm not completely sold on a pocket pistol.

Some of you have a lot more knowledge on pistols, give me some advice.

What you want it for? Cc or just in general. Dont get a little pocket pistol if your not going to carry. Larger service size guns are much easier to shoot and more reliable IMO.

Get whatever fits your hand and is comfortable.

Springfield
Glock
S&W m&p
Sig
Beretta 92

All these are good dependable guns.

Don't own a glock in 9mm.But I own a 10mm and love it.But when it comes to 9mm its hard for me not to carry my 92f.Just dropped it off last week to get the frame coated in od green. Also getting the barrel crowned & few other custom things done.

All the guns i listed above come in a compact version except maybe the Beretta. I'm just not that familure with Berettas. The compact version will still be better than the tiny pocket guns IMO.

I have no trouble concealing a Glock 19.

I own a Beretta 92 FS. Absolutely love shooting it, its a real treat. But .. its too big to conceal plus its heavy

I own a Ruger LC9 and it's perfect to conceal, fits right in my pocket without a hitch. It does however, have a long trigger on the first pull but 2nd and further is slicker'n a pig in chit

I also carry a G19, G4 concealed without issue. Use a Crossbreed Supertuck. I can tell you that when we go to the range as a family, I lay out the handguns on the bench and tell them to shoot whatever they want. The kids will invariably wait on each other to shoot the G19.

Look at the Ruger SR9c compact. I have one and love it. It is not a pocket gun, but is a nice compact weapon and easy to carry IWB or OWB. Also it is priced right!

Depending on your taste, these are pros or cons:
Manual safety
Loaded Chamber indicator
10 round mag
17 round mag that is extended to have the same full size grip as the regular sized SR9.

Your title says best 9mm. In that case I would get an HK P2000sk but you also want inexpensive, so in that case a Glock 19 comes to mind. An even better carry 9mm is the Kahr CM9.

I'd avoid the Kel-Tec like the plague. I have owned and carried them. There are soooo many mo better options available. The LC9 ruger, the cm9 kahr an the Glock to mention a few

the kel-tecs feel like a little bomb going off in your hand when you shoot them. theyre are a few carry pistols that shoot well, but not many. it just depends on what you want to do with it. if it's carry only, and you're not going to shoot it much then a kahr cm or cw9 would be my choice. followed closely with a shield and the awesome little Glock 26. if your going to shoot it very much, i'd go with a little bigger gun (like the G19) that can still be carried. you really need to decide what you want to do with it first though.
good luck and i would recomend getting a carry and a shooting pistol.
the glock 26 and the xd sub compact will shoot well and be comfortable shooting.
