Well, I've about gotten it figured out.
First, I hate commercials. I'm just about done with them on TV.
Second, I hate figure skating. I mean I absolutely loathe it. Except for cute girls in skimpy costumes, I hate everything about it.
Problem is, the primetime broadcasts are chock full of both those things.
So here's what I figured out. I DVR the daytime broadcasts, where they show curling, biathlon, cross country skiing and other cool stuff I like.
Then I DVR the primetime broadcast. I start watching the daytime stuff at around 7:00, then switch over to my recording of the primetime stuff about an hour later. I zip through all the commercials and skating crap. Then if I happen to catch up to the "live" part, I just switch back over to curling! Then I can go back to the nighttime stuff later when I can zip ahead again.
"Hell yes I'm ready Woodrow! Don't I look ready?"
