Good grief! I'm sweating listening to what you guys wear! I'm hot natured so I very rarely will wear under armour. I will normally wear polar fleece base layer with a pair of normal pants and shirt and a set of cotton predator cover-alls. After I get in my stand and sitting for a while and get chilled I put on a light weight coat. I do wear a tilley hat and a kneck fleece coverup. One pair of socks and wool lined rubber boots when really cold. I have never used hand warmers but buy them every year and usually give them away to people who freeze and need them.

I bought a one piece polar fleece (long john type)for $10 at the Army Surplus. It is real light wieght that I wear under my clothes. It unzips on the sides for walking in so you don't get too hot. I also bought a jacket for $30, and a pair of bib type overalls $15, that are a little thicker polar fleece as well. The fleece is black so I bought the nylon/polyester camo shirts and pants big enough to go over the fleece. I put the fleece overalls and jacket on when I get to my stand. What I love about this setup is the fact that it is real light wieght, it's not bulky at all. I forgot my fleece jacket the other morning when it was 14 and I didn't get cold at all until the wind started blown and then I got a little cool. If I would have had my fleece jacket I would have been fine. I will definetly buy me some more for next year. Best setup I've ever had for the least amount of money.

The Cabels's Woolitmate with windshear is good stuff. I can usually wear UA and a mid layer under the pants and sweater and be good. Merino wool socks are a must with rubber boots.

i don't dress to stay warm i dress to not get to cold . i wear a good loose coat with a hood , short sleeve shirt, jogging pants and hunting pants . good boots , one pair of cotton socks . pair of good gloves . I can't imagine you not getting cold in just that in Jackson County when it is 15 degrees and 20 mph winds.

I get cold very easily so I have to wear more than most to keep warm. When it is less than 20 degrees, I wear my First Lite Merino Wool base, mid-weight, and heavy layers. I then wear my Cabelas Down layers. Next goes the Filson wool pants. Over that I wear my Scentlok 360 Fleece jacket and pants (not because I think Scentlok works, but because it is comfortable and quiet). Next is my Browning Hydro Suede Bibs and 4 in 1 Parka. Over all that I wear an ASAT 3D leafy suit. Throw on some Woody Max Mucks with a heavy weight Smart Wool Sock and my First Lite Merino Wool baclava and beanie as well as some Marmot snow ski gloves....40lbs of clothes and I don't get cold and can sit all day. That's probably what all my wife would have to wear too if she went hunting in the cold.....but, in her defense, she has a vagina.

Go hug a tree in a stand with:
-800 gram thinsulate boots with a thick pair of socks in boots loosely laced. - toboggan hat and gloves - military issue sleeper shirt, wool sweater, quilted flannel shirt and a camo hoodie.
Don't walk too far with too much on and get sweaty and you're good to go to 20 degrees. In windy conditions, I break out the Walls coveralls. If it's windy, dress for 10-15 degrees colder than what the thermometer says.

hand warmers, body warmers, foot warmers, fleece for the head and face. I found it don't matter what you wear if you have all the above.

The one thing that has made the biggest difference to me is a fleece "Gaiter?" (neck cover) that I tuck into my shirt collar.
Getting the wind off my neck makes at LEAST a 10 degree difference in how I feel. If I can also keep my EARS, FEET, and HANDS warm, I can stand most anything (except hard direct wind in my face). AMEN! Along with my Fleece HeadGear and Neck Gaiter, I use Base Slayers Undergarments. Excellent in dispersing any sweat you may work up and keeps me pretty comfortable. Followed by a layer of Fleece pants and top. Then add my Arctic Shield H9 Bibbs and Coat. Two layers of wool socks, and a few different pair of gloves I swap as temp changes. When it really bottoms out, I will add in a Layer of King of the Mountian Wool Bibbs and shirt over the fleece and then add the Arctic shield. Oh and Woody Max Muck boots. Sit in my Summit for hours in that gear.

Holy cow ... Arctic Shield and King of the Mountain, along with fleece?
How do you not burn up? I know when sitting a body can get cold, but jeepers. That's some serious cold-weather gear right there for Alabama.
I know you don't get cold, though. LOL
