Anybody ever had a fox mounted? What did/would it cost?

Never done a fox, but the guy charged me $250 for a coyote shoulder mount. Full body would probably be $500.

Friend of mine shot one Friday. He called taxidermist, and was quoted $640. Same $$ he gets to mount a bobcat.

Just case skin it and have the hide tanned, then use the tanned hide as a display, rather than a mount. I have a beautiful 52" red fox hide done that way, looks great!

I just got finished skinning them out. Gonna check some prices tomorrow for having their hides tanned commercially. If it's too much, I'll do it myself. Check out the pic of the caped out hides in the trapping section, titled 'been busy.'

Nope...that's a Teddy. He starts shaking uncontrollably and pisses himself if you tell him there's a painter within 500 miles! wink

OR

You could do whatever the heck you want to and shoot whatever you want to and I support you doing that as long as it's legal. That's what I do.

Ok?? Maybe you should realize your on a hunting forum an not a tree hugging PETA page. IMO they eat turkey an turkey eggs. There will not be one walk by me an live. Same with bobcats, coyotes, coons, possums.
