That's what I figured. I'll be hunting the 16th thru the end of the season. Where in Coffee co are you hunting?

Yeah I agree with a season extension and think it would do wonders for the rut. I got ya huntbig, I'm hunting in Clayhatchee along the Choctawhatchee River.

I saw several fresh scrapes in coffee co the weekend after Christmas.......I actually moved a camera over one. But I agree, they are not chasing and should soon be getting hot. Should be chasing real good the first week of February. laugh

Seen several fresh scrapes last week and after the rain Saturday my son and I watched a small buck clean the leaves out of a scrape 50yards in front of us. Also between 5 of us hunting we saw 2 young bucks running does in our food plots. But nothing real exciting here yet. We hunt just south of Elba on pea river.

Heading north tomorrow to Dale County to hunt till the fat lady sings. Hopefully I will have some input in the next coupla days.My cuz was out riding his 4 wheeler late last week and saw a nice 8 with a doe, so its probably starting.I just hope there is no 70 degree weather like there was last year during the last 2 weeks.

Had a small basket buck chase two does out of a food plot last night. So hopefully the big boys will be joining in very soon

We seen 3 different bucks chasing in a pasture we hunt. Nothing to big, a small 8, 6, and a spike. It was a good evening for seeing deer for us. Really starting to pick up

Mercy. The acreage I hunt has got a lot of scrapes that seemed to be getting lots of visits. Had a cowhorn chasing yesterday.

That's a good looking buck. I've had a few smaller bucks chasing but all the big boys are still showing up at night. The does on our land just aren't quite ready yet. Hopefully any day now
