I'm wanting a SXS from one of the big 3... I know the ranger is a good unit but does anyone have any experience with the new honda or Yamaha machine?

Ranger. I don't own a sxs but have looked into them a lot and and ranger blows everything away. Look on YouTube and search ranger vs

I love my ranger and I am a huge fan of Honda atv`s. I wouldn't want the Honda utv because I don't have faith in the tranny. I wouldn't hit a hog in the ass with anything made by kawasaki

Ranger all the way. Been through them all. The ranger is the only choice IMO

I've got an Arctic Cat Prowler and its a good machine but I would go with the Ranger. I feel like the motor and transmission in the Honda is the weakest and worst of the choices. The Viking is pretty much a bigger Rhino with a 3rd seat. They are good and tough machines and I think the 700 Yamaha motor is one of if not the best big bore single cylinder motors out. That being said they just aren't the machines that the Rangers are. The Rangers are stronger, faster, and can just do more. The single cylinder motors just don't put out the power like the v-twins do. You check the specs and see.

Pioneer-- bed capacity-1000lb Towing capacity- 1500lb
Viking-- bed capacity- 600lb Towing capacity- 1200lb
Ranger-- payload--1500lb Towing capacity- 2000lb

If anybody gets up a big ride around the Northeast AL let me know. Good public places with to ride have become hard to find.

There are a few places to ride in Al but i don't know any that compare to Wind Rock and Brimstone parks. They are in middle TN. I have some info on a place called Stoney Lonesome in Cullman i think. It looks ok, but its really small. Seems like its only about 500 acres and about 40 miles of trails. That would be ok far a day ride.

If there are any other places to ride, post them up.
