I went to Watervalley lodge five years ago, great food, people and lodge. But in my opinion fair hunting and far too many hunters. Much better suited for supporting a corporate group hunt. I did kill a small 8 point but only 2 hunters out of 12 killed bucks and they were not impressive deer. I could go on but this is exactly what I don't want to repeat. A bus with 10 guys on it and a guy driving in a circle right up to stands and says get out, there is your stand right here....

I am looking for the smaller places that play the wind and dont just throw you in a stand. I am a seasoned hunter looking for a professional guide and real hunt. Alabama must have better....

Also very familiar with AL River and Bogie, not what I am looking for. They shoot anything that moves, quality is poor just look at the pics on their website. Would any deer crack 110 inches smile.

Come on boys, ur holding out on me, where are the real mom and pop type places that are not out to take our money and care more about a great hunting experience.

Yea, that place is a joke!

So weird.

You come off like a jerk. Doubt you'll get what you're asking for with your attitude so far.

N AL, I was joking with him. You are reading far too much into the post that isn't there... And I think he did that as a joke don't you?

Thanks to all the other suggestions, I will look into all of them.

Casey's have some good property. I would also recommend Doug and Lyle Smith or Johnny Henry in Pleasant Hill. Pm me for phone numbers if you can't find them.

I dont think what you are looking for exists. Buy or lease some land and create the experience you desire.

It doesn't sound like he's asking too much to me. He's not asking for anything unreasonable.
