Once again, the wife has worn out her smartphone months before she is eligible for an upgrade. Does anyone have any kind of smartphone for the Verizon network laying around that I could buy? I would prefer something near Eufaula.

Do like I do mine - get a cheap pay as you go phone from walmart and put it on her line. She won't be happy with it, but it'll make calls until she can upgrade.

My dad just replaced his Samsung droid charge with a new iPhone and we'll actually be up at camp just north of eufaula this weekend. Not sure on all the specs,just know its Verizon and its 4g compatible. Let me know. We're driving up Sunday night

Yep! I've done it three times. She's been good for over a year now. You can activate any phone you'd like as long as it can be put on the verizon network. It's no different than you buying phone from someone and having it activated on her line.

Craigslist is good too. My wife has bought several 50-100$ phones on there to get by with.

I've got a droid x2 riding around in my truck. Upgraded the wife a few months back. Have another just like it where I upgraded my son about a year ago. I'd have to work to find it, but I think it's in my son's room.
