The arsenal allows hunting with dogs for some game. The only weapon to take squirrels that's allowed is an air rifle/pellet gun. The permit and check-ins are a tough process at Redstone.

"Small game: Hunters may hunt with shotguns using only non-toxic #4 shot or smaller, rifles and handguns using rim-fire ammunition only, or archery equipment that complies with state law. Possession of lead shotgun shells for hunting is prohibited"
Lead in rimfire is allowed...just not shotgun shells!!
