i loved the vid and am glad he waited, i at first that he is going to spine shoot that buck, but glad the deer turned he got a nice hit, and quick kill great vid. i could see my razor tricks tearing him up.

I would leave it in the 63 to 65# range. If you turn it all the way up to 70# your arrows will most likely be under spined. Trust me on this. The first time you try to draw on a deer from a treestand on a 30 degree November morning after sitting there for a couple of hours, you will thank me. I've been there and done that. I think this is the best advice in the entire thread.

I think this is the best advice in the entire thread. true i feel over training will set up bad habits, i do remember and can relate to cranking up like Shaw above , one time i did and when that buck came up i could not draw, when my muscles were so cold.he is right ! ! so don't crank up if you can't draw cold and sitting down. too much is worse than a bad shot.

I'm a believer, will keep the present 63#. What is underspined mean?

underspined refers to the stiffness of the arrow. When an arrow is shot it flexes. If underspined the arrow could explode. You don't want to much flex because the arrow will not have enough time to stabilize before hitting your target. If it isn't stabilized before hitting your target you lose energy and have inconsistent grouping. Others may be able to give you a better meaning of underspined but this is my definition.
