And this was imposed by A&M. If the NCAA didn't have anything on him, what is the suspension for?

2. Basically this means that the NCAA has no proof of any pay for signatures..but has this punishment for the player should have known better.

The NCAA is powerless. Even if it looks fishy, things are hard to prove without the power of summons. They need to spend more time modernizing their rule book than trying to prove to no avail that someone violated their archaic rules.

But the NCAA didn't hand down this suspension, A&M did. Sounds like maybe some plea deal may have been reached.

What a joke.no one with half a brain knows he wouldnt sign 6600 things for free. and its on tape him saying that this signing never took place. since they paid in cash its hard to prove. he did it just didnt get busted.

It's all about $$$$$$, how much do you think A & M, SEC, and the NCAA stand to loose if JF is out for 1/2 the season or even just the Bama game. It all comes back down to money and JF makes all organizations a lot of it and they ain't about to give it up.
